WHO I AM?

My name is Bilal and I am the son of Shaukat Ali Anjum Retired Chief Petty Officer (Pak Navy). My pen name is Bilal Shaukat Azad and people know me by that name today.

 

I was born on February 14, 1988, in the Shikarpur district of Sindh. I received my early education from former Ibrahim Ali Bhai PN Primary and Secondary School, now Pakistan Navy Model School, Majeed SRE, Three Damian Colony, Karachi. and then the rest of my education after my father's retirement from the Pakistan Navy in 2002 received in 2007 from the famous Al-Noor Public School in my hometown Sadiqabad.

 

For higher education, I enrolled at the renowned Islamic University, Bahawalpur in 2007, and in 2009 I got my Bachelor's degree in Journalism there, but between 2003 and 2009, I joined the Skill Development Council Lahore. in 2006 obtained a Diploma of Office Management from Sadiqabad Institute of Computer Science with Distinguished Numbers.

 

and in addition to obtaining a Diploma in Journalism, I enrolled in Mr.Sohail Ilyas's (Late) Correspondence College "National Institute of Journalism, Islamabad" and with Distinguished Numbers, I completed my Certificate in Journalism from 2007 and then I also got three more diplomas in Safety, IT and Mass Communication from Skill Development Council Lahore from 2010 to 2014 respectively.

 

I continued my professional life and education together. . . After matriculation in 2005 when I was free I started working as a salesman in distribution as well as giving home tuitions to the children of a doctor and then when I completed my intermediate I was hired by Fatima Fertilizer Company Machi Goth Sadiqabad construction site But I had the opportunity to work as a Safety Officer in the Chinese company CNCEC and there I worked honestly and hard from 2008 to 2010 and when the contract was completed I joined "Pakistan College of Commerce and Computer Science" from January to March 2010 and there I worked as an IT Lecturer.

 

and from there I got a job as a Customer Services Representative in the Jazz Mobilink Pakistan franchise which I accepted and worked there from March 2010 to March 2013 (meanwhile 2012 I got married at the age of 22) and then resigned for personal reasons and moved to Lahore.

 

where I spent the first six months giving home tuitions and then as a medical rep in a pharma franchise Foray Pharma after being recruited and working there for two months.

 

then I joined ATCO Lab Pvt Ltd in July 2013 and Started a job as a Sales Promotion Officer and where I took a promotion and resigned in December 2016.

 

and started my job as a Territory Manager at the famous Pharma, Hilton Pharma in January 2017 and resigned in January 2020.

 

and at the international herbal company Herbion Pharma, I started working as a Medical Sales Executive and now in October I resigned and left the pharma industry and now I am working as a Personal Assistant in a Law Consultancy Firm.

 

This was my personal, educational, and professional introduction but my main hobby was to be a part of journalism and movement and serve the people.

 

I wrote in Zarb-e-Taiba after completing my journalism education and when the era of social media started, I stepped into the genre of blogging through Facebook which became stronger with hard work and dedication, and thanks to God I am one of the famous bloggers in Pakistan today.

I am affiliated with the Kashmir Youth Alliance platform as a social media activist and am currently on various blogging forums.

 

Be a member of the renowned journalist organization PFUC and have been active in the field of journalism since 2008.

 

Now I have started learning graphic designing, video editing, programming, and freelancing so that I can become a good freelancer and get more beautiful experiences but before that, I am experimenting with freelance content writing and scriptwriting and I am very excited that I am getting more outcomes.

Let me tell you a little about what I do in my daily life. I love to learn and read and I also love to teach people what I learn and read. Let me know what I do.

• Journalist

I am a journalist by nature so my whole educational journey has been on the path of journalism and I have taken an informal step in the world of journalism since 2006 but in 2016 I was formally called a regular journalist and started writing and the world knew me as a journalist.  Nowadays, I am affiliated and active with the journalistic organization PFUC.

 

• Blogger

 

The genre of blogging is the genre that made me very popular and strong not only in social media but also in the world of journalism. Due to the popularity of more than 500 blogs, I am actually a well-versed Urdu blogger, according to my friends. But nowadays I am also trying to make a name for myself in English blogging. At the moment I am a regular contributor to Facebook, Daleel, Mukaalma, Urdu Safah, Raabta, Azadiyat and Baghi TV. I am publishing monthly and weekly blogs on these above-mentioned prestigious sites. And let me tell you that I was a co-founder of the "Pak Bloggers Forum".

 

• Activist

 

I have been a member of youth mobilization organizations since social media and have been active in organizations on global issues besides student issues but nowadays I am a part of "Kashmir Youth Alliance" and "Pakistan Youth Activism". While I am a co-founder of two social media organizations such as "Research and Analysis Team of Pakistan" and "Mission Pakistan".

• Content Writer

 

I have also been into content writing for some time now seeing the market value of data science and content. Since it is just the beginning and the other was writing in Urdu till now, I may not be recognized in the international market, but I will cross this milestone soon.

 

• Script Writer

 

Because I am a good and well-versed writer, due to this reputation, most organizations and YouTubers keep asking me to write scripts for their videos and I have written dozens of scripts on which the videos have become very popular. I started trying to make a name for myself professionally.

• Humorist and Satirist

 

Yes, I am also a humorist and satirist who is well known for his humorous remarks on social media. One of my Facebook pages is dedicated only to satire and humor where on a daily basis I publish satirical posts on political and global news.

I have a combined 16 years of professional experience in Health Environment and Safety, Teaching, Customer Services Relationship Management, Pharmaceutical Sales, Nutraceuticals Sales, Office Management, Administration, Online Journalism, Youth, and Social Media Activism Blogging.
